L’Oro dei Valenti is a Vermentino crafted from the finest grapes selected in the San Lorenzo vineyards, situated on the area's most prime hillsides. Pale straw-yellow in color with greenish highlights, this wine stands out for its freshness and intense aromatics. On the nose, it offers a bouquet of citrus, ripe fruit, and yellow flowers, accompanied by a subtle mineral note. On the palate, it is fresh, savory, and juicy, with a pleasant aftertaste of aromatic herbs and hay.
PAIRINGS
Its balanced structure and good persistence make it a versatile wine, ideal for pairing with fish dishes, pasta, or fresh cheeses.
The Valenti—as they were known—counted Beatrice among their ranks. Born free and happy amidst the vineyards, she had suffered an injustice as a child: she was denied the same privileges as her peers because of the belief that her father, Armandìn dè Valénti, had struck it rich by unearthing a pot of gold in the vineyard. Yet Beatrice, who had felt the sting of that perception, truly held gold in her hands—gold that shimmered in the August sunlight: a pure Vermentino, ready for harvest and poised to yield a Cru boasting intense notes of citrus and aromatic herbs. A true privilege, a genuine fortune—Vermentino, the Gold of the Valenti.
